SUP BOARD CARE

SUP Care Guide: Keep Your Sup Board Epic! πβοΈπ
G'day, SUP Legends!
At SUPMOJO, our premium epoxy boards are built to crush the waves β tough fiberglass shell over a lightweight EPS foam core. But sun, salt, and impacts can take a toll. A little care keeps your board stoked and performing for years!
Beat the Heat π₯ (Avoid Delamination!)
Trapped air expands in direct sun, stressing the epoxy skin.
Golden Rules:
- Store out of direct sunlight.
- Park in shade during breaks.
- Cover the deck pad from UV.
- Use a reflective bag if sun's unavoidable.
- Board bags are great β but not for long-term sun exposure.
Vent Plugs π¨
Your board's pressure relief valve β lets air out, keeps water in. Zero fuss!
Tips: Set it and forget it. Just check occasionally for tightness and debris.
Dings & Repairs π‘οΈ
Pressure dents? Usually harmless. Cracks/dings? Seal ASAP to prevent water damage (extra weight + discoloration).
- DIY kits for minor fixes.
- Pro job recommended.
Adelaide crew: Visit Leighton Clarke at The Ding King in Hackham β legends who'll get you back on the water fast!
Safe Transport π
We love Balin SUP soft racks & straps.
Pro Tips:
- Use dedicated SUP straps.
- Add pads to protect board & car.
- Snug straps β don't over-tighten.
Fins & Boxes ποΈ
Keep boxes clean, screws firm (not too tight). Sticky fins? Light sand for smooth fit.
Treat your board from SUPMOJO right, and it'll deliver endless adventures. Ride on! ππ€
